In early 2022, a captivating collaboration unfolded when L'Oréal's luxury brand, Armani Beauty, reached out to the esteemed Dilan Çiçek Deniz, renowned for her stellar acting career and association with high-profile brands. From Dilan's perspective and ouryout strategic viewpoint, this partnership was a testament to the power of careful curation and a shared vision for localizing global luxury.
Armani Beauty, traditionally managed conservatively to uphold its global image, faced a unique opportunity in the burgeoning Turkish market. Local managers sought to create tailored content to connect with the Turkish audience, presenting a challenge due to a limited budget for a high-profile celebrity like Dilan Çiçek Deniz.
Despite the constraints, we recognized the potential synergy between Dilan and Armani Beauty and embraced the collaboration for iconic “Si” perfume, breaking away from the conventional national campaigns Dilan was accustomed to. The campaign, comprising a digital video and a photo, focused on the opulent world of luxurious cosmetics. The creative resonated with audiences, going viral and significantly impacting both brand awareness and conversion rates, earning recognition as a global best practice in corporate management.
The success of the initial collaboration propelled the partnership to new heights. Armani Beauty, recognizing the mutual growth, elevated the collaboration by inviting Dilan to the 79th Venice Film Festival, providing her with a glamorous red carpet experience.
In 2023, the local management's ingenuity in the campaign garnered global praise, leading to an expanded contract with Armani Beauty for a more extensive scope, resulting for Dilan Çiçek Deniz achieving a Global Friend of Brand status. The new contract, signed in 2023, included Dilan promoting the entire range of Armani Beauty cosmetic goods, from foundations to lipsticks and beyond. Over two years into this partnership, Armani Beauty and Dilan Çiçek Deniz continue to flourish, demonstrating the extraordinary outcomes that can emerge when a brand and a talent seamlessly align in their pursuit of elegance and innovation.
